At United, we encourage everyone to serve others and share the love of Jesus in the course of their everyday lives. Whether that means volunteering in a community service organization, serving in a church-based ministry, or really loving someone in our community, it is our hope and prayer that God shows each and every one of us how He has given us unique gifts to shine as lights for His Glory.
Care Meals provide food to members of our church family who are in need such as after surgery or the arrival of a new baby.
The Funeral Meal Ministry provides comfort and support to grieving families by organizing and serving a meal after a funeral service. Volunteers contribute food items like salads and desserts, or they help with setup, serving, and cleanup to ease the burden on the grieving family.
The Crook Food Pantry is hosted by United, and distributes food and grocery products directly to individuals and families in need.
We have several ways that you can serve on Sundays during our Worship Service. Join a Praise Team or help with Audio-Visual.
This group of volunteers is responsible for the stewardship of a church's building, grounds, and equipment. Their duties involve planning, executing, and overseeing maintenance, repairs, and improvements through church workdays; coordinating a repair; or completing the work needed.
At United, we love to gather for fellowship and celebration. Volunteers with this ministry help plan and assist with special events. (Harvest Dinner, Soup Supper, Summer Picnic, and more!)
