Here at United we desire to share God's grace in the gospel message through the natural rhythms of everyday life, ministry partnership, and intentional movement toward all people.
We have differing working definitions of missions & outreach yet understand them to have one common goal of seeing the gospel proclaimed and the church edified.
Missions - a concerted evangelistic effort outside of an existing local church that crosses cultural lines as it seeks to make joyful worshippers and to gather them into local congregations for the furthering of long-term discipleship and growth.
Outreach - an intentional movement toward our neighbor(s) to love them through proclaiming the gospel and through helping them
Church Care Meals provide church members delicious meals to members of our church family who are in need such as after surgery or the arrival of a new baby.
The Funeral Meal Ministry provides comfort and support to grieving families by organizing and serving a meal after a funeral service. Volunteers contribute food items like salads and desserts, or they help with setup, serving, and cleanup to ease the burden on the grieving family.
The Crook Food Pantry connects with our surrounding community by helping people with food.
Special Events & Celebrations Ministry plans and implements church-wide and community events that help people connect, celebrate special moments, and foster fellowship.
Grounds & Building Ministry This group of volunteers is responsible for the stewardship of a church's building, grounds, and equipment. Their duties involve planning, executing, and overseeing maintenance, repairs, and improvements through church workdays; coordinating a repair; or completing the work needed.

At United, we feel especially called to share the Gospel with people and in places where Christ’s redemptive promise has yet to be proclaimed, among people who remain unengaged with the Gospel’s transformative power, and in areas of the world where the marginalized and overlooked can be lifted up by the eternal hope of Jesus’ love, mercy, and grace.
As a church we have sent and supported dozens of missionaries to countries in around the world. These missionaries engage in church planting, community development, creation care, campus ministry, and sharing the Gospel by sharing their own lives with people in their communities. We believe God has a plan to reach every tribe, tongue, and nation.
The Missions Committee creates awareness and connects our church with the missionaries we support worldwide.
