Jim & Kathy Carlson have been in fulltime church work with the EFCA since 1989. They worked first in Congo (Zaire) where Jim was a Bible school teacher. Since 1996 they have been working in France, specifically in church planting. At this present time they live in the Lyon area and Jim is the regional leader for the EFCA work in France which is called ReachGlobal France. He oversees the leaders of the ReachGlobal France teams in Lyon, Toulouse and Marseille. Both Jim & Kathy are very involved in a local ministry as well with the International Christian Community of Lyon (see www.icc-lyon.org ). Their two children, Abigail & David, are both studying away from their parents, Abigail in London and David at Black Forest Academy in Germany.
